| Tamariu is situated in an area of the Costa Brava coast with a very rich and well-preserved seabed. The depths vary as does the landscape under the water. There are hills, narrow passages, caves and underwater scenes of naval conflicts from as far back as 1285 and more recent wrecks like the merchant ship Paz de Espalza, which sank at Christmas 1921, at a depth of 14 m. plus splendid meadows of gorgonian coral and the marine life that goes with it. | ||
