We are back in Norway after 3 wonderful weeks in Nerja.
The city with its surroundings was magnificent, and we really loved the appartment. As I said, - it felt in a way very private.

I am also very happy that you with your presence in Nerja gave us the opportunity to see " the one behind". And we really liked what we saw !

We will soon come back with our reservation for the next year, in the Garden Appartment, or in Residensol.

Dear Jil,
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our holiday at Residensol 13 from 20th to 27th October.  The flat was great (and very well equipped), the instructions for finding it were perfect, and it was a very nice touch for some basic groceries to be waiting for us on arrival; something that I don't believe we have encountered before in many years of holiday rentals in different countries. Your advice on car hire had been helpful, (we used Malaga/Marinsa with no problems). And we liked the town a lot.
We had such a good time that we fully intend to return to Nerja next October, probably for two weeks, and possibly to Residensol if it is available (we are not sure of our dates at this stage). We are slightly wary of potential building sites in the town (we counted ten tower cranes from the terrace!), but the building next door to Residensol should be finished by then (we had very little noise from it during our stay anyway), and I don't think that there is anywhere too close that could be a problem, although developments do seem to spring up in the smallest plot!

Just wanted to thank you for all your time and effort in making our holiday such a wonderful one.....everything went perfectly the taxi was there waiting for us on time the villa was beautiful, clean modern and homely and perfectly located. Nerja is such a lovely spot and we had fantastic weather for the whole week until the last day when it got overcast .  It was really important to us because I am just about 6 months pregnant and really needed somewhere relaxing and beautiful and Nerja was the perfect choice made better by the lovely accomodation and helpfulness of yourself in making sure it all worked out.

Sorry we haven't come back to you before, but things have been manic here since our return from holiday.

We just wanted to say that we had a pleasant surprise when we entered the apartment!  It was much more spacious that we thought it was going to be and the view over the swimming pool was very nice!  It was nicely furnished, and I would love to know where we can buy the same sort of lamp (chrome "tentacles") in the lounge! We were SO pleased that it wasn't further up the hill!

The only minus point would be that the TV didn't receive channels properly and for some reason we thought we would have satellite TV to receive English programmes, but I wouldn't say it ruined our holiday! (ed. there is Spanish TV only here with a VCR)

We will definitely recommend Residensol 13 to everyone!

We have been meaning to email you since our holiday on 10th September, to say how pleased we were with the Edificio Acapulco #32. Apart from the marvellous view from the top floor, it was exactly what we were looking for location wise. We asked for accommodation in a quiet position, but within easy reach of everything, and that is exactly what we got. The apartment was tucked away in a residential area. so there were no bars, people walking past, or traffic late into the night. We noticed that many other apartments, whilst perhaps more modern and attractively built, were in the main thoroughfare, many with restaurants and shops on the ground floor. We would not have swapped our apartment for any of them.

As for the other arrangements, we were very impressed by the information folder that you sent beforehand. Although we had been to Nerja before, I'm sure that for those who hadn't, the directions from Malaga and information in general would have proved very helpful. Most passengers on package holidays would not have received such a good information pack, and I know, because I used to be a travel agent myself.

Once again, thank you for all your help. We will definitely recommend your company.

I am amazed that the police delivered the purse to Bernadette's office. I asked if they would and they specifically said that was not possible. I have already cancelled any cards that were in the purse but would certainly appreciate having the purse sent to me. I will be happy to pay for the postage and handling.

In spite of the purse snatching we had a WONDERFUL time in Nerja. We haven't stopped talking about it and are just trying to figure out when we can schedule a return trip. Of all the places we have travelled to we have decided that we like Nerja the best. We waited at the Hotel Beach Nerja for a few minutes while one of the girls brought our key from the downtown office. Not only did she bring us the key but she lead us on her minibike right to the front door of our Jarales unit. The condo was lovely and very well equipped; we appreciated the goodies in the refrigerator and certainly enjoyed the grocery store at the top of our street. We managed to eat at several of the suggested restaurants and especially enjoyed Restaurant 34 and Don Comer (also the beach restaurant, Ayo!!!).

I was right, you were right.

I said I'd be writing to you to thank you for our time at Los Pinos in Nerja, and apologising for our scepticism. You said we'd have a great time there. We're the Lloyd Family from Cardiff. We were booked at No.23, but you had to change us to N.12 for the week Aug 5-12th, 2000.

In fact, you did us a favour as the outlook from No. 12 was far superior to No.23.

When I'd originally enquired about bookings back on Feb 22nd, I'd stated that I'd worried about your existence and validity, as I'd never used the Internet for such purposes before. I'd imagined you running off with my cheques, and us turning up at Los Pinos to find a building site or car park or fully booked accommodation.

Well, please accept my apologies, it was all very real and very enjoyable. All four us said what a good choice and what a lovely place it was, and that was a first from both my teenage children and wife for the same holiday. We enjoyed the town and wandered down every evening or drove up to Frigiliana, the Caves of Nerja or the Aqueduct...

Finally, I'll like to say that we were so taken that we'd like to return in, maybe, three years time (America calls us next year), but also wondered if you ran or booked similar accommodation in different resorts, say east, nearer Alicante or elsewhere along the coast (for a change of venue) ?

Got back on Monday and wish we were still at La Hacienda instead of Bayswater!. The surprise treat worked perfectly - Billy was completely shocked and thrilled. We all loved the apartment and Nerja - I was worried as I had been before and thought it may have become overly commercialised - but not a bit. When the hardest decision you have to make all week is "pool or beach, Pimms or Gin and Tonic" then life must be good!

We would definitely book again ...

Taxi worked well, even though the poor chap had to wait whilst we reported three of our cases not arriving. Luckily the airline got them to us later that night so we weren't too worried.

Anyway, thanks again for organising this for us - I'll definitely recommend you to others.

We are starting to plan our trip in December. We travel every six months. Last December we were in Thailand (Phuket) and loved it. We like beaches and rest and relaxation. This year we are thinking of going to Tahiti, Moorea and Fiji and were wondering if you have any contacts there or can recommend someone as good as you that works in that area. We want to go somewhere warm and there just aren't many places that are warm that time of year. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. We would love to work with you again.

Next summer, we are going to go somewhere else in Europe...maybe Italy....but definitely on a beach somewhere. So again, if you have ideas, we welcome them.

We just got home and wanted to say thanks for such a lovely spot to park ourselves for the week in Nerja. Maybe it has a bit too many English people in it, but was nonetheless interesting and we did all the local touristy things as well as branching out to other villages and cities.
